In Which Procrastination Plays a Large Part

Tonight, orchestra rehearsals started up for the new season. We've moved to downtown Boulder, so the after-rehearsal-obligatory-beer can be held at many fun, new locations. Over the course of the evening, I got to sight-read a solo (since I'm pretending to be principal cello for a few weeks), drink some fabulous beer, catch up with friends, got invited to a big bash in March in Las Vegas, and got asked to be a part of a curling team. As I can't even stand on two bare feet without randomly tipping over, my answer, of course, was "Hell yeah!" It turns out the only correct answer to, "Do you want to be on my curling team?" is "yes."

This has been a week of fabulous invitations. I, sadly, had to turn down a trip to Drag Queen Bingo Friday night as I'd already made plans to dance and drink weak margaritas at an outdoor concert. This week has been a very good week. I wonder what adventures will visit me next week? And instead of playing on the internet, I really should be working on my final final for summer quarter. Less than 24 hours to go!!
